Questions about the suitcase cover
Does clear PVC crack in the cold?
In a hold at altitude PVC stiffens, and repeated hard folds at the same crease are what eventually crack it. Store it rolled rather than folded and it lasts several seasons; folded into a square, less.
Will it yellow?
PVC yellows with UV. Leave it on a case in a sunlit hallway and it will go amber within a year or two; store it out of direct light and it stays clear much longer. That is the trade for being see-through.
Which size for a 22-inch case?
Take the 24-inch. The hem is elasticated, so slightly loose sits fine, while a 20-inch on a 22-inch case will not close over the corners.
