Fixed-compartment cases are always wrong by one slot. This one uses hook-and-loop dividers on a lined floor: pull a wall out, put it back 2 cm over, and the cell now fits the thing you actually own. The shell is a moulded EVA with a hard face, so it protects against a crush rather than just a scratch, and the lid carries a mesh pocket for flat items. It is the case for the small expensive things that otherwise rattle loose in a bag: earbuds, a watch strap, a dongle, a camera battery.

Questions about the case
How many cells can I make?
Three dividers, so up to four cells across, and you can run one lengthways for a narrow channel. Most people settle on three: one deep cell for earbuds and two shallow ones for the small parts.
Will over-ear headphones fit?
No — at 6 cm deep this is an in-ear and small-accessory case. Folding on-ear headphones without their own case will fit if you remove every divider, but they will not be protected at the band.
Do the dividers hold when it is upside down?
The hook-and-loop grips the floor across the full divider base, so a shaken case keeps its layout. Repositioning them hundreds of times will eventually wear the hook, as it does on any camera bag.
