Questions about the jewellery roll
Roll or box — which should I choose?
A roll if you pack light and want it to take no more space than its contents. A box if you carry a lot of small pieces and want them in fixed cells with a lock. The roll is the travel-light answer.
Will delicate chains tangle?
The hook panel is there so a chain hangs along the strip rather than pooling. A very fine chain laid loose in the end fold will still tangle — hook it, and the roll holds it straight.
Does it protect against knocks?
The end fold is padded and the lining is soft, which handles scuffing and rubbing. It is not a hard case: a heavy bag landing on it will press through, so it belongs inside a case rather than loose in a tote.
