KEEP THE SHOES AWAY FROM THE SHIRTS
Every packing set works right up until the shoes go in. This one gives them a sealed sleeve of their own, with a wipeable lining and a zip that closes over the soles, so three days of pavement stay in one pouch and your shirts come out of the case looking like they went in.
-
Sealed shoe sleeve included — wipeable lining, full-width zip, fits a pair of size 11 trainers
-
Mesh window on every cube — read the contents through the face without opening the zip
-
Second zip drops the height — roughly a third off folded cotton, less on synthetics
-
Five or six-piece — the six adds the shoe sleeve, the five is lighter for hand luggage
-
Coated polyester shell — sheds a spilled water bottle long enough to get the lid back on
The six-piece version adds the thing most sets forget: a sealed sleeve for the shoes you are actually wearing home. Everything else compresses down through a second zip on the cube itself.
The shoe sleeve is the piece you keep
Five cubes and one shoe sleeve, all in the same coated polyester with a windowed mesh face. The shoe sleeve is the odd one out and the one that earns its place: a full-width zip, a wipeable lining and enough room for a pair of size 11 trainers, so the dirty soles from three days of walking never sit against folded shirts. The cubes themselves take the double-zip treatment, dropping cotton and knitwear by roughly a third. Choose the five-piece if you carry sandals, the six if you pack real shoes.

Questions about the cube set
What is the difference between the five and six-piece?
The six-piece includes the sealed shoe sleeve. Everything else is identical. If you travel in the only shoes you bring, the five-piece saves you 90 grams and a little case depth.
How big a shoe does the sleeve take?
A pair of US men's 11 trainers fits with the zip closed. A single bulky hiking boot fits; a pair does not. Dress shoes to US 12 go in comfortably because the sole is thinner.
Does the mesh window tear?
It is stitched into a bound seam rather than glued to the panel, which is where cheap sets fail. Overload a cube past its zip and the coil will go before the mesh does.
