STOP HUNTING FOR THE OTHER SOCK
One open cube turns a week of socks into a daily search for the matching one. A moulded tray of cells means a rolled pair goes into a cell and is still a pair on day six, and the underwear next to it is somewhere that is not the same pile.
-
Seven sock cells — a rolled pair per cell, so a week stays sorted as pairs
-
Four deeper cells for smalls — underwear sits separately rather than mixing with socks
-
Moulded tray under the shell — the cells hold their shape when the case is packed hard
-
Flat zipped lid pocket — for a spare pair of tights or a folded laundry bag
-
8 cm deep, stands on edge — slots against a case wall rather than lying across the packing
A compartmented case for socks and smalls, with moulded cells rather than one open space, so a week of pairs stays in pairs.
Moulded cells, so pairs stay paired
Loose socks in a cube are one sock at a time for the whole trip. This case has a moulded tray of cells under a zipped lid: seven sock cells down one side, four deeper cells for underwear along the other, and a flat zipped pocket in the lid for anything else. Roll a pair into a cell and it stays there. The shell is a light water-resistant polyester over the tray, so it holds its shape in a case, and the whole thing is 8 cm deep and stands on edge against a case wall.

Questions about the travel case
Do thick socks fit the cells?
A rolled pair of standard or sports socks fits. Thick wool hiking socks fit one pair to a cell rolled tightly, or you can use two of the deeper cells instead and carry fewer pairs.
Is it worth the space over a soft cube?
If the sock problem annoys you, yes — the tray is what keeps pairs together. If you pack three pairs for a weekend, a soft pouch does the same job in less depth.
Will the tray crush in a packed case?
The tray is moulded, so it holds under normal packing pressure. Put a heavy case on top of an already-full suitcase and it will flex — it holds cells, it is not a hard case.
