A passport cover has one job and most of them add four. This is a bifold of full-grain cowhide with a stitched edge, a full-depth passport pocket on the right, two card slots on the left and an RFID-blocking layer behind them. No zip, no pen loop, no elastic band. The hide is aniline-finished so it takes colour from handling: pale at the spine where it flexes, darker where your thumb sits. Questions about the passport cover
Will it fit a US or EU passport?
Both — the pocket is cut to the standard ICAO booklet size that the US, UK, EU, Canada and most others use. A larger 64-page endorsement passport also seats, slightly more snugly.
Why only two card slots?
Because a passport cover with six slots becomes a wallet, and a wallet does not fit an inside jacket pocket alongside a boarding pass. Two is a bank card and a loyalty card, which is the airside kit.
Will aniline leather mark?
Yes, and that is the finish. Water spots even out, scratches burnish back with a thumb, and after a year the cover is darker at the spine and the corners. If you want it to look new forever, choose the Saffiano-grain pieces.
