Questions about the toiletry case
What is split leather?
The lower layer of the hide, finished with a pressed Saffiano grain. It is real leather, more uniform and more scuff-resistant than full grain, and it does not develop the patina a vegetable-tanned hide does.
Which size should I take?
The small holds a weekend kit of decanted bottles, a brush and a razor. The large takes full-size 250 ml bottles standing up. If you are not sure, the large is the one people keep.
Can I hang it in a shower?
You can hang it on a rail, but steam and leather are not friends over years. The hook is there for a door or a rail outside the wet zone; in a full wet room, use a coated fabric bag instead.
