Questions about the dopp kit
How is this different from the Saffiano case?
That one is structured and pressed-grain: it stands square and wipes hard. This one is soft pull-up leather: it packs flatter, takes odd shapes, and changes colour where you handle it. Different jobs, same shelf.
Will water mark the leather?
A splash wipes off. Soaking a pull-up finish leaves a darker patch that mostly evens out as the piece ages, but do not hang it inside a running shower — use the rail or the door instead.
Does it stand up on a counter?
Partly. It has no stiffened base, so full it sits and half empty it leans. If you want a kit that stands square and holds its mouth open, the canvas dopp kit with the stiffened base is the one.
