STOP PACKING BY BURIAL
Loose packing has one failure mode: the small things sink and you excavate the case every evening looking for a charger. Seven graded pouches fix that for the price of a paperback, by giving every category a footprint and putting the small footprints on top.
-
Graded from shirt to passport — three clothing sizes so the small things stop sinking to the bottom
-
Wipe-clean toiletry lining — a leaked sample bottle stays in one pouch instead of the whole case
-
Breathable drawstring shoe bag — woven, not coated, so damp trainers are not sealed in
-
Cable pocket sized to a plug — deep enough for a charger and a coiled cable, not a shallow envelope
-
520 g for seven pieces — light because it is doing sorting, not structure
Seven graded pouches, sorted by what goes in them: clothes, shoes, toiletries, underwear, cables and two loose-ends pockets. It is the cheapest way to stop packing by burial.
Seven pouches, sorted by contents
The set is deliberately plain — lightweight polyester, single coil zip, bound seams, no compression — because the value is in the sorting, not the engineering. Three sizes of clothing pouch step down from a folded-shirt footprint to a passport footprint, so the small things stop sinking. The shoe pouch is drawstring and breathable. The toiletry pouch has a wipe-clean lining. Nothing here will survive being dragged through an airport by itself, and nothing needs to: it lives inside a case and does one job well.

Questions about the pouch set
Why is there no compression on any of these?
Because at this weight of cloth a compression zip pulls against nothing and just adds a step. The set is built to sort a case, not to shrink it — the double-zip cube sets are the ones that do that.
Will the toiletry pouch hold a leak?
The PEVA lining holds a spilled sample bottle inside the pouch and wipes out. It is not a sealed container: a full shampoo bottle that opens in a checked bag will find the zip line.
Are the pouches sturdy enough to use as a day bag?
No. There is no handle, no strap and no structure — this set lives inside a case. If you want something to carry on its own, look at the sling or the packable tote.
